Another week flown by! WOW Only 2 more to go before we are off.
Going for our morning walk today we both realised we still had no idea how things will unfold. Stuff we probably should have thought of, like how will make a living? Exactly where we are going or where this experiment will ultimately lead?
To be honest with all the running around trying to answer emails and keep everyone happy, we had forgotten just how little of this we have actually planned for ourselves, and how much of it is literally unravelling before our eyes.
The uncertainty and tears of the beginning of this week has definitely been replaced by a sense of calm and natural flow and it feels quite surreal. So in retrospect the dramas have played their part, challenging our perspective and adding to our growth, equal to any of the good news we have received.
Already I am getting a sense of flow in operation as things just come together. Even when they apparently don’t!’. The more I live like this, the more I firmly believe there is a ‘place’ within us, outside the normal worry and brain chatter, just waiting for us to quit our complaining and busyness and be present.
In one of these moments today I had a bit of an epiphany. I realised that the second you open your mouth to describe silence you lose it.
Silence can never be explained only experienced and this explains perfectly the paradox of flow. The moment you reach out and grab or try to manipulate or control it you lose its essence, and it becomes something else.
I have often wondered why we can’t see things when we are in them. Why it’s always retrospectively that we see the good that was in the drama or the purpose in the pain. The answer is because outside the event we are no longer trying to control it. We accept it more for what it is and the lesson is able to be learnt.
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could bring that hindsight one step closer to our daily lives. To give us an almost god like perspective and wisdom on our lives
I think that this is something worth pursuing and practicing. After all it’s only a way of thinking, nothing more mystical. Which means it’s only a little practic
e and few re trained neurons away from being a reality.
Let me know your thoughts and any tips you have on the topic
NEW ADDITIONS – Ollie and Sarah moved in today as the experiment moves to phase 2. They have kindly volunteered to help us all around Australia and will be living with us as part of The Life Change team. WELCOME GUYS
BREAKA BREAKA – I finally completed my Heavy Rig license so now i can mix it up with the truckies. I just need a silly call sign now haha – To be honest i didn’t need to get this level of licence to be able to drive the Winnebago. But strangely the guy who agreed to teach me suggested it out of the blue so I took the ‘universal’ hint and we shall see where it leads.
YOUR CHANGE – Please make this your Life Change Experiment too. As the community grows and we find out more about how others have reinvigorated their lives and overcome adversity your experiences count.
It’s easy to sit quietly and observe but I can’t tell you how much the simplest of comments have affected people on the site. Everyday we get emails from people whose lives are changing because of the comments others have posted.
PLEASE USE THIS EXPERIMENT as a unique opportunity to do something lasting in your own lives, and in the process help others simply by letting them know how it goes good and bad— Thanks so much

Hi guys, sorry it took a while for a reply it is so inspired what you guy’s are going through. Maybe someone else will like to have the stuff more than I do, even though I don’t have any, but I like to follow up where you are and what you’re doing. Maybe you wont hear from me for a while until I find out from my family in the island with the tsunami if they are ok. Hope all is well with you guys please keep intouch…May God blessed you all with your family…and keep each safe
You guys are about to embark on the most amazing end enlightening adventure. I think that it should almost be a prerequisite for everyone in the world to take a ‘leap of faith’ year and see what the universe delivers. Keep inspiring us with your updates please. Love, light & happiness to you all – and if you ever feel like you’re paddling upstream – call me and I promise to make you giggle & giggle about something inane… I find that when times get tough that taking a moment to shift focus from all the drama to something more frivilous makes you realise how unimportant the drama was in the first place!! Rest assured your circle back home have got your backs 100% of the way xx Anything you need just holla – Love C xx
It must be the year of changes and re-arranges! G & B you guys continue to inspire!

I am learning to create my own order working from home. Not all that simple as you might expect. After a lifetime of being organised into the routines of others – school, uni then work routines it is now a challenge to establish my own and be able to stick to them! Well meaning friends and family seem to think working from home means you are at their beck and call 24×7! Getting folk used to the fact that you are working but differently is ‘interesting’! BUT I am learning new things daily, making new links daily and the +ive snowball effect is coning into action!
Big hugs
Jennifer
