Thankyou so much for understanding the complexities of today’s recording environment , recently I had just learnt that we have some people in studios working 8 days without any support whatsoever to record music , and it really needs to change were the artist and the studio have a much better relationship that doesn’t involve men in big chairs and green bills to get things done , since I have been a musician every time that I have walked into a studio , it hasn’t been about how well I had played the guitar or how I presented myself as a person , it has been about how the person on the other side of the desk could market me to the masses to generate their own monopoly ..

With everyone’s support, I am willing to turn the tables on the music industry and offer support to all artists and the people supporting them and give back to charities that truly need a helping hand.

the first step in creating this is to build a proper studio which is a comfortable experience for the musician and the recording crew that embraces their ideas and helps the musician develop their sound the way they invasion it. Then releasing them online for the many people in the world to enjoy as well as to distribute and sell their music as a fundraiser through selected stores each year to raise awareness for what we do.

at this time the studio is 90% complete and all we need is some instrument donations, a few sponsors and some of the people that make fundraiser packages to help us gain the funding to make things legitimate, as once we are established we can start putting out the first cd’s to gather donations towards helping others who have a talent and don’t have the finances to get themselves noticed..

You’ve really struck a “chord” with me on the music topic. I wish Doug all the very best!
It just so happens, your odyssey has inspired me to write a song about your journey. As Doug mentioned, when it comes to music, it’s very expensive to put it all into production and the way it needs to be done to do it justice. Although it can be done with a home studio, the costs involved and in depth knowledge needed with the software makes it a real challenge.
However, I’m not losing heart, where there is a will there is a way. And maybe I’ll cross paths with someone out there who has a similar dream…And when that time comes, I’ll only be too happy to send this song as a gift to you!

Due to the huge demand of those willing to help us with getting our foundation started we have created a dedicated Music for life my space site which has started gaining support from people across the globe , with support from popular identities and other acts to contribute to helping us , within the next year or so i can actually see us helping many of the unknown artists get themselves noticed as well as have the opportunity to record some new artists and start running events that give back to selected charities once a year .

at this time we are currently seeking donations towards running the first event , they do not have to be huge , just something to kickstart us with the needs to organise a charity based event raising awareness for struggling artists as well as getting the proper means to finish the studio , so we may be able to make musicians dreams a reality.
