BUSY BUSY
What a great weekend.
We had an amazing lunch with the Lao community. They explained to us how important it is for them to raise resources and money to provide a place escapees from the communist regime can come together and help each other.
After suffering so badly at the hands of the authorities community support is vital.
If you think you could help as simply as turning up to one of their food fairs, providing a skill or raising money you would be making a massive difference and helping others like them to stand up against persecution……. They also make a mean meal for their mates who help out :- )

FLOW FRIENDS In unusual places
On a little country lane out back of Queanbeyan we stopped at the side of the road to change BlueBelle when out of the blue a couple walked up knocked on the window and told us they had been following our adventure. Moments later we were back at their place having delicious home made pizza and discussing life, the universe and everything
Kelly and Andrew design mega computer systems for big companies. They are also avid mediatators and metaphysical researchers. So with their natural logical and inquisitive minds they had some fascinating perspectives on the science of life, change and spirituality. We were up way too late….And plan on popping back again for another round tonight…..Thanks guys for such kindness.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE TODAY
One Autistic son is a handful. Can you imagine having 2. Well we had an email from the sister of a family that have been doing it really tough with their two young Autistic sons.
Despite their hardship they spend much of their time helping other autistic people and raising awareness. So we stopped by to surprise them, and thanks to Bartercard, make a difference in their lives by supplying some things they desperately need. Including a night off for mum n dad!
Despite the stress they live under they invited us to stay for lunch and we got to see the inspirational way the whole family pulled together to make life as bright as possible for the boys.
