Yucky morning. Rainy and cold!

However we spent the night in Crookwell. A lovely little town on the way to Orange.

Despite feeling like we are incognito and miles from anyone we know, Bessie took BB for a walk and still managed to run into a bunch of teenage boys yelling ‘we love you Bessie’ from a passing car. A strange reminder of the old days haha.

Talking of teens. Bess had a great time talking to the group in Queanbeyan about Life Choices and Success. Thanks Larissa for the opportunity. You are doing a great thing there.

HOME STRETCH – FITTING IN

With only a couple of weeks left before the end of this stage of the experiment the thoughts of what’s going to become of us pop up from time to time.

Fortunately if there is one thing this adventure has taught us, its that you don’t know until you do. In other words there is really no point stressing about it.

We also feel that much more resilient. Less reliant on the securities we once needed and far less phased at life’s little curve balls.

But the biggest thing I think I have realised is just how enormous the number of ‘alternative life paths’ there are out there.

We spend so much time worrying about not fitting into the stereotypical social norms we never really get to see the myriad of other DIFFERENT ways people around the world find happiness and success.

I think when you realise this you become less afraid and less worried about losing the little scraps society throw us for fitting in.

STUNNING SUNSET – This was so awe inspiring. Overhead in Burra.

I wonder if we would not all be a lot more aware of the incredible earth we live on if, instead of turning the TV on, everyone just stepped outside and watched the sunset
