Hi Jeff and Bessie,
I met you at the Winnebago Christmas party. Lovely to meet you. One of the quotes that kept coming to mind as you were talking is "Happiness is an Inside job".
I hope you find what you are looking for in life - both within and without - but within mostly

Hey guys, great to meet up with you at the local petrol station in Byron.. you are an inspiration. Thanks for doing this so that people can see what is possible when you put your mind to it. Change and transformation - it's just a decision away.

Come on guys, how about doind it for real. Spend some time in the ugly places with the homeless, drug addicted and the down and out in general. Are you going to stay in any public housing if you have the chance? Maybe our beautiful high rise slums here in Melbourne, or one of our disgusting roomimg houses. Use your voices to really make change. Draw attention to problems that are making our wonderful country a sad place for thousands of people.
If you get to Melbourne i would love to show you some of the real world. I work in health care with homeless and drug and alcohol addicted people in our community. If your up for the challenge come see how lucky you are!!!

Hi My partner and I have just had a whirl wind 25 day road trip from Brisbane - Perth via Broome .

There did get a point where we were OVER travelling .......hundreds of miles a day and then having to find either a caravan park or a motel especially in the Pilbara where accomodation is incredibly priced and we thought we would be homeless as even though we had large van with just a mattress it wouldve been far to humid to sleep .

anyway home now one day and the experience is looking better.I remember sitting in a campsite laundry reading a mag and breathed a huge sigh as I realized that this was the first time in over 2 weeks that i had given myself permission to do nothing .

letting go is really hard and it is really people not places that feed our soul .That is my only comment and family is where the greatest love is .

I have found a great community feeling in country towns which i long for now that I am back in the city and realze that everyone chasing material goods is trying to fill the void (the lonliness and isolation in suburbia and it never will.

I think you will learn a great lesson and awakening ...

The both of you are such an inspiration to thousands of people accross Australia. I think it is in every aussies nature to want to beak free and explore the great outdoors. Unfortunately I am not as brave as you and would not be able to give up our business ( or ball and chain whichever way you look at it ). But you have given me the push I need to start planning long getaways and trying new things. Thanks for putting the important things in life back in perspective. I see a lot of people have given tips on places to visit - I say visit everywhere, leave no stone unturned. Especially the small towns off the beaten track as they often contain the biggest characters and greatest surprises.
