STRANGE TO BE BACK

As you can see Bess and BlueBelle were pretty excited to be waking up in a lovely hotel room.

It’s really strange being back in the Hunter. Driving along familiar roads we both felt the contrast to the sense of ‘city soot’ & heavy energy we carried here the first time.

Like a clear still glass of water, rather than a stormy brew of muddy thoughts.

It’s amazing to look back at what you once thought/felt was ‘normal’ and realise how much you were deceiving yourself.

LOVING IT – All Over Again

One of the big factors in this journey was the lack of appreciation we had developed for nice things.

Hotels were a bore! No amount of fine dining made us feel any better and all the ‘trappings’ of the high life felt like literal traps.

But after our time on the road in the hot n dusty outback and amongst so many unique and inspirational people……

Bess looked at me yesterday when we arrived at the hotel and with a big grin said, ‘I’m so excited about being here’

It was a wonderful feeling to bounce around on the bed like kids, raid the mini bar and feel a glow of  freshness again.

Life is so much more fun like this!

VolunteerANYONE CAN ‘MAKE A WISH’

Last week Bess arranged for Sydney’s biggest PR agency, Mark Comms to, incredibly kindly, make their resources available to ‘Make a Wish childrens charity’ .

Now we are looking for other people who would like to make an enormous difference in some needy kids lives. And ease the burden on some very special and generous adults.

Please contact us on me@bessiebardot.com. We are looking for a range of much needed skill sets from helper to professional..THANKS SO MUCH
