Anyone who has been in great pain or illness, knows that even beloved pleasures we wouldn’t dream of giving up like alcohol, junk food, movies, friends company, cigars, internet, shopping, dinners out etc become a distant memory, even repulsive in that moment of un-wellness.

The same thing happens, interestingly enough, when someone puts a gun to your head, or threatens a loved one. Previous pleasures and cravings simply disappear.

So whats changed?

It seems that despite our moaning about not being able to ‘change;  our brain is perfectly capable of entirely changing how we think in an instant, without any hesitation or effort.

Can you imagine if we could harness this genuinely powerful ability we all posses, and use it in our every day Life Change’s.

Well there is an old saying.

“When the why’s are big enough, the ‘hows’ will look after themselves”.

PAIN, ILLNESS AND A GUN AT YOUR HEAD create a total emersion in the mind!!

Every sense and thought is recruited to the task at hand. And the value of that task is labeled in our heads as ‘RED ALERT’, numero Uno, The Big Enchilada.

And right there is were we blow our good intentioned Life Changes. Most of us DONT MEAN IT !

But the fact is the power IS VERY DEFINITELY within us.

Values:-Stack the deck. Know in infinite detail how that change will effect your life and everything you value.

Focus:- Make EVERYTHING you do and think about this change.

Immersion:- Don’t work ‘towards’ a change. BE the change NOW! in every pore. Live it breathe it. You are it. Just like an illness. When you have a stomach ache or ear ache your whole body is part of it. Practice the same kind of immersion
