Yesterdays dustbin diving was relatively successful. I got some half eaten bananas a half drunk can of coke and some past used by frozen Pizza. Don’t panic Bessie n BlueBelle didn’t have any. There was other stuff but I would have needed to be on survival exercise to have eaten it. In the Marines we regularly made short work of worms n leaves n bugs n stuff but I just aint that hungry haha.
I think I’m going to have to get up earlier and look in more places to get the good stuff.
Almost got stuck in the city. Note to self – Don’t drive a 31 foot Winnebago down Melbourne inner city back streets looking for rubbish bins haha. Anyway we decided we had enough of the city for a night so headed out of town to Knox.
Woke to discover the worlds biggest phone tower right beside us probably frying our skulls haha – But the upside was we were in the back lot of a giant Mall. So Bess was happy. Also got to see Alice in Wonderland (not bad)
Today or tomorrow we are hoping to sneak into the Atheist conference. They sold out but since they don’t believe in god sneaking in really can’t be a sin he he. Hopefully I’ll get to interview a few since it certainly is a Life Changing perspective
I’m hoping we can find a spot to park near the docklands tonight. Melbourne is definitely the hardest place I have found to find places to sleep the night. Although the cops were good to us and the rangers just gave us a note. (I’m not sure if I was supposed to give it to my Mother or what haha)
BlueBelle got to play in ToysRus for the first time. Consumer in the making by the looks of things

Just wanted to say good on Winnebago for supporting your venture. When my hair eventually goes grey and I set off on the great lap, I have to say your shared experiences has changed my mind about getting a caravan. Love the idea of being able to drive and set up simply when you find the right spot.
An atheist conference hey…. sounds interesting. Just don’t make eye contact okay…. oh no wait…. that’s another movie…. V.
I’m just loving the trip you are on… it’s wonderful.
