FEELING SAD
I actually stepped outside with a lump in my throat today. It dawned on me that this may be one of the last times we get to wake in this lovely Winnebago.
I can’t tell you how exhilarating it is each morning to push the door open and see a whole new world outside. Dew on the ground, the sun coming up, cows, cars, mountains, oceans, rivers, who knows…
Mornings in the Winnebago really are magical.
You really feel like the world is your Oyster. I don’t think you get that in a hotel room.
Today we woke up in very scenic carpark outside a little town called Salt Ash. Amusingly just over the road sits a run down kids park called Dizzy World. I expect its run down coz the owners are still paying for the court case…haha

Gemma’s Project – The Inspirational Quilt
A young lady called Gemma contacted us about a project she is starting, to make life a little better for some very sick young people.
Gemma has Cerebral palsy and has done more than her share of suffering in hospital. She realised that in the ward she so regularly stayed, they were missing that little extra inspiration to help them through the painful op’s.
So Gemma is combining her love of quilting by collecting signatures from the women she thinks are most inspirational around the world, Michelle Obama, Pink, Rachel Griffiths etc and embroidering their stories onto a big quilt, so sick teens can use and draw strength from when in hospital.
We thought this idea rocked. So when she asked Bess to sign her quilt we decided to go a step further and help her reach some of the celebs she needed using our database from the old days.
I find it constantly amazing that it is more often than not the people who we should be helping that are the ones actually doing stuff to help others.

Dizzy Land is still open during school holidays and weekends. Don’t think I would take my kids there though nature is a way better attraction then rides and things that go ‘bing’.
What a beautiful idea that Gemma has. I hope that she gets all the signatures that she needs.
